Private label is how a jewelry shop becomes a brand: your logo on the piece, your name on the box, your story on the card. The good news is that the entry barrier is lower than most buyers expect. Here is what a practical private-label program looks like when you work with a silver jewelry factory.
If a supplier only offers option one, you are buying engraved jewelry, not building a brand.
Traditional factories asked for hundreds of pieces per design. Modern workshop-based manufacturers work from 10 pieces per design, which lets you test five designs instead of betting on one. Keep your first order small, read sell-through for a season, then scale the winners.

Serious manufacturers will sign an NDA, keep your CAD files and reference samples on file, and refuse to resell your custom designs to other buyers. Ask directly how they handle exclusivity — the answer tells you a lot about who you are dealing with.
