Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern quotations, orders and deliveries of 925 sterling silver jewelry supplied by Hong Kong VITA (“we”, “us”, “our”) through hongkongvita.com, by email or by written quotation. By placing an order with us you accept these terms.

1. Business customers only

We supply wholesale and OEM/ODM customers only. Our products are not sold to consumers, and nothing on this website constitutes a consumer offer. By ordering, you confirm that you are buying for business purposes.

2. Quotations

  • This website does not take payment. You send an inquiry, and we reply with a written quotation for the specifications, quantity and destination you provide.
  • Quotations are valid for 30 days from their date unless stated otherwise, and are subject to silver and labour cost changes after that period.
  • Prices are quoted per unit and, unless stated otherwise, exclude freight, insurance, import duties, taxes and bank charges.
  • Where specifications change after a quotation, we will re-quote before production.

3. Orders and minimum quantities

  • An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing (email or signed proforma invoice), not when it is requested.
  • Minimum order quantity is 10 pieces per design, mixable across sizes and, for stock items, across designs to reach one order minimum.
  • Custom OEM/ODM orders require approved technical drawings or a signed sample before production starts.
  • We may decline an order that requires us to copy a design we believe infringes a third party’s rights.

4. Samples, tooling and approvals

  • CAD drawings are typically issued within 24–72 hours; physical samples within 7–12 working days of drawing approval.
  • Sample fees and courier costs are payable in advance. Sample fees are normally credited against the matching bulk order, as stated in the quotation.
  • Where custom tooling or moulds are required, the cost is quoted separately and confirmed before we start.
  • Production begins only after you approve the sample or drawing in writing. Approving a sample approves its dimensions, finish, stone colour, plating colour and marking.

5. Prices, currency and payment

  • Prices are stated in US dollars unless the quotation says otherwise.
  • Standard terms are a deposit with the order and the balance before shipment, as set out in the proforma invoice. Other terms apply only if agreed in writing.
  • Bank charges, intermediary bank fees and any currency conversion costs are borne by the buyer.
  • Goods remain our property until the invoice is paid in full. Risk passes as stated in section 7.
  • Late payment may suspend production or shipment of current and future orders.

6. Lead times

Order typeTypical lead timeStarts from
In-stock wholesale items3–7 business daysPayment received
New sample (after CAD approval)7–12 working daysSample fee received
Bulk production20–35 business daysDeposit and approval received
Custom plating, engraving or packagingadd 3–7 business daysApproval received

These are typical times, not guarantees. Delays caused by public holidays, peak season capacity, customs inspection or events outside our control do not entitle the buyer to cancel an order already in production.

7. Shipping, risk and title

  • We ship worldwide by international express (DHL, FedEx, UPS) or by air/sea freight for larger orders.
  • Unless the quotation states an Incoterm, goods are sold ex-works and freight, insurance, duties and import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility. We are glad to arrange freight on the buyer’s behalf when asked.
  • Risk passes to the buyer when the goods are handed to the carrier. Title passes when we have received payment in full.
  • The buyer is responsible for providing a correct delivery address and for import licences or certifications required in the destination country.

8. Inspection and claims

  • Please inspect the goods on arrival. Claims for shortage, damage or specification differences must reach us within 7 days of delivery, with photographs or video of the goods, the inner packing and the outer carton.
  • We may ask for the goods to be returned or for a sample of the affected units to be sent for inspection.
  • Where a claim is accepted, we will repair, replace or credit the affected units at our option. This is the buyer’s exclusive remedy for defective goods.
  • Claims arising from misuse, improper storage, unauthorised repair or normal wear are not accepted.

9. Custom and OEM/ODM orders

  • The buyer warrants that any design, logo, trademark, artwork or reference supplied to us may be used lawfully and does not infringe a third party’s rights, and indemnifies us against claims arising from that material.
  • Custom orders cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged once production has started, except for a defect covered by section 8.
  • We may keep a reference sample of custom work for quality control and reorder consistency. We do not sell custom designs to other customers.

10. Compliance and product information

Our silver jewelry is made from 925 sterling silver (92.5% silver) and is nickel-release tested in line with common EU and North American requirements. Test reports and material declarations are available on request. Because requirements differ by market, the buyer is responsible for confirming that the ordered specifications meet the regulations of the destination country.

11. Warranty

We warrant our goods against manufacturing defects — faulty clasps, incomplete stone setting, plating adhesion failures and dimensional errors — for 12 months from delivery, provided the goods have been used and stored normally. The warranty does not cover scratches, tarnishing from contact with chemicals or perfume, plating wear from everyday use, or damage caused by alteration.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of goodwill, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, government action, port or customs disruption, strikes, or shortages of raw materials. We will notify you and agree a revised schedule where possible.

14. Intellectual property

All content on this website — photographs, product descriptions, drawings and layout — belongs to us or is used with permission, and may not be copied for commercial use without our written consent. Buyer trademarks are used only to produce and supply the buyer’s own orders.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute by good-faith discussion; if that fails, the dispute will be referred to the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre for arbitration under its administered rules, or to the competent courts of Hong Kong, at the claimant’s choice.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order.
