Inside Our Jewelry Factory in Guangdong

Hong Kong VITA runs a 900 m² jewellery workshop in Guangdong, staffed by 50 people — including 3 dedicated R&D staff and 8 full-time QC inspectors. Design, tooling, casting, setting, finishing and inspection sit under one roof, which is why a spec change can be answered in a day instead of a week.

Six areas you would walk through on a visit

Every photograph below was taken on our own floor in October 2026. No licensed stock imagery, no borrowed factory shots.

Design & CADThree R&D staff model your piece and produce a render for approval, usually in 24–72 hours.

Casting & formingLost-wax casting for bodies, wire and sheet forming for chains, bangles and ear wires.

AssemblyMulti-part designs joined and aligned by hand, with clasps and hinges fitted on the bench.

Six clips from the benches

Filmed on the workshop floor in October 2026 and published as recorded — no voiceover, no staged takes. Each loop is five seconds and shows one station doing one thing.

PolishingA cast body buffed on the polishing spindle. Drag marks are felt by hand at this bench, then taken out before anything goes near the bath.
0:03
PlatingA jig of finished pieces lowered into the plating bath. Colour comes from bath chemistry, thickness from dwell time — then a coating gauge.
0:05
Loupe inspectionA setter checking stone seating under a loupe. Loose stones and uneven prongs are pulled here, before polishing and before packing.
0:05
Caliper checkA vernier caliper on a finished piece. Dimensions are read against the approved drawing, not against the sample on the bench.
0:05
CADA model being turned in CAD. Every revision reaches you marked on the render, so the version that was approved is never in doubt.
0:05
StockFinished stock going onto the shelf by SKU, so a repeat order is pulled from the same rack as the first run — same tray, same label.

Clips are muted five-second loops at 540 × 960, published at the size they were filmed. They only start playing when they scroll into view.

How a job moves through the building

01

Design studio

Your reference becomes a 3D model and a photoreal render. You approve it before a mould is cut, so changes cost time rather than money.

02

Model & casting

A printed master is finished by hand and turned into the production mould. Casting runs in silver, brass and copper; K gold in 8K, 9K and 14K is produced to order.

Setting, assembly & finishing

Setting benches, assembly benches and polishing stations sit next to each other, so a piece that needs rework walks ten metres instead of crossing the city.

Inspection & packing

Eight checkpoints decide what leaves the building. Pieces are bagged by SKU, counted against the packing list, and the sealed carton is photographed for the order record.

Showroom

Where samples are reviewed

Finished collections and approved reference samples are kept in our showroom, so a buyer can compare a new batch against the piece that was signed off months earlier — under the same light, at the same distance.
